Jimmy Nicholson, aka The Bachelor 2021, is no stranger to the dating show or reality TV crowd.

Following Channel 10’s big announcement this morning, The Wash can reveal that Jimmy previously dated Bella Varelis, after she starred on Locky Gilbert’s season last year.

After many Bachie fans noticed Bella was already following Jimmy on Instagram before his starring role had been announced, we thought we’d slide into her DMs to see what’s the story there.

Here’s what Bella told us when we asked how they know each other:

‘Hahaha yeah we were chatting and went on a couple dates towards the end of last year, we got set up by a friend. He’s a really lovely human, definitely deserves to find love!’

She also confirmed they’re still friends, and that’s about it. Nothing scandalous, but still interesting.

Oh, and before any wild rumours start circulating that Bella’s gonna try get on the new season to win him back or something crazy like that, we can confirm that very much won’t be happening.

Following their few dates she then went on to meet photographer Will Stokoe, who is now her boyfriend. The pair recently went Instagram official, and she seems very loved-up.
