Last week, we reported how Married At First Sight’s Booka Nile wasn’t following husband Brett Helling on Insta, suggesting they’ve split since filming.
The fact she also appeared unhappy watching their wedding back at a viewing party in Perth on Tuesday, without Brett, also fuelled this theory.
There was also these pap pictures on this link here of the couple looking a little frosty while filming back in October, again, fuelling this theory.
However, there’s since been a bit of a plot twist.
On Friday, we noticed that one of Booka’s Internet Friends bandmates shared a clip of her working on some new music – and there were a couple of clues suggesting she’s still with Brett after all.
Firstly, there’s a picture of Booka and Brett on their wedding day hung up on the studio wall.
The new song Booka was working on also featured these very romantic-sounding lyrics, ‘[Inaudible] you get closer to meeee.’
Not quite an angry breakup track, hey?
‘Rare footage of Booka in one of her hyper focussed song writing states hahahah,’ the clip was captioned, making it very clear the reality star penned the track, which may be about Brett?
Meanwhile, Booka has since explained why she wasn’t following husband Brett on Instagram after it was pointed out by fans and The Wash.
As noticed by Pedestrian, the musician wrote this in a Facebook comment: ‘I’m not giving away spoilers talk but this Instagram shit means zero. I don’t follow anyone from the show cos that’s the rules. Brett clearly gives zero fucks about rules. That is all. As you were *bows*.’
