We’ve been convinced for weeks now that Irena Srbinovska wins The Bachelor, leaving Bella Varelis heartbroken as Locky Gilbert’s runner-up.
However, an unexpected move by Channel 10 on Thursday afternoon, just hours before the finale airs, now has us doubting our own theories.
At 1pm, Bella was whisked away from her Sydney home into a chauffeur driven car and taken to a secret location, via a covert operation.
The brunette was first rushed from her home into an Audi, where a member of production was waiting for her on the back seat.
The car then drove from North Sydney to Channel 10’s Pyrmont headquarters, and straight into the network’s secluded underground carpark.
Bella was then shuffled from the Audi into a private hire taxi that was waiting underground. She lay down across the back seats to avoid being spotted as it then raced out onto the street minutes later.
Finally, she was whisked to a hotel in the city, which is where out photographers lost her.
Could she be off to meet Locky for a hotel rendezvous and to spend the night together?
Could we have been wrong and the evidence suggesting Bella doesn’t win has all been a ruse?
Or are Channel 10 simply putting her up somewhere so they can keep an eye on her, and make sure she doesn’t go rogue on Instagram when (if?) she’s dumped during the finale?
We’re honestly not sure of anything, anymore.
Of course Bella could just be off to do interviews or something, it’s just slightly suss that she left with a small suitcase, don’t you think?
Before being whisked away, Bella spent the morning with co-star Bec Cvilikas, who was dumped during Wednesday’s episode.
The girls recently moved in together, and click here to read Bec drop a cryptic hint during a live interview that Bella may actually win.
