The Bachelor’s Bella Varelis has broken her silence on the growing rumours that she knew Locky Gilbert before meeting on the Channel 10 dating show earlier this year.
Speaking to The Herald Sun on Tuesday, the 25-year-old said that the speculation was ‘bullshit’ and she ‘never even watched Survivor’ and had no idea who he was.
She also confirmed that she previously dated Locky’s friend, U.S. Bachie star Dean Michael Unglert, as well as Aussie Bach star Sam Johnston, before signing up to the show herself.
Bella told the newspaper that she dated Sam prior to his appearance on The Bachelorette in 2016, and he then introduced her to former Bachelor Matty J and Laura Byrne, who then introduced her to US Bachelorette star Dean in early 2019, who she also briefly dated.
‘It happens naturally,’ said Bella of the introductions in the reality world.
During the interview she failed to mention her past connection to Brooke Jowett, Locky’s ex-girlfriend who he met filming Survivor: All Stars last year.
