Married At First Sight’s Coco Stedman has turned to her ex-husband George Kyriacou to help her deal with the whirlwind surrounding the show.

The Wash understands that Coco has been struggling with the mixed response she’s received from viewers, and is bracing herself for the worst once her ‘affair’ with Cameron Dunne airs.

And her ex has been helping her through it.

We papped George arriving at Coco’s apartment last week, further fuelling our theory she doesn’t end up with Cameron and is still single.

As far as we’re aware, nothing romantic is going on between Coco and George, he’s just ‘one of the only people Coco feels she can turn to right now’ while dealing with everything going on.

The pair married in early 2018, split six months later and then finalised their divorce in early 2019.

We’re told from multiple sources that Coco has ‘withdrawn herself a little’ since the show started airing, over fear of the public’s response.

After her first pre-season promo was released in February, two weeks before the show started airing, Coco responded to negative remarks from some viewers on social media.

‘You know what I don’t get? How being called “loud” and “boisterous” is synonymous with being “crazy”. There are people out there murdering cats and bathing in their blood, that’s crazy. I’m just out here wilin’ and taking the piss 85% of the time. Have a LAFF,’ she wrote to Instagram.

Coco and George’s reunion comes after she took aim at his mother on the show, blaming her for the breakdown of their marriage back in 2018.

On Married At First Sight, Coco said her first marriage ‘fell apart after only six months because she always felt she was running second to her mother-in-law’.
