Married At First Sight’s Bryce Ruthven and Melissa Rawson are contemplating taking ‘legal action’ against producers for their edit on TV.

Since the show aired, they’ve been inundated with lawyers offering to take on their case.

‘I feel enticed when lawyers are making contact – the show ruined my life, my mental health. There’s never been a couple like us who look so putrid to Australians,’ Bryce told New Idea this week.

Melissa elaborated further, saying: ‘People are claiming our relationship has triggered victims of domestic violence, but then Channel Nine says they’ve done their due diligence by us, but viewers are still interpreting it like such. Something has clearly gone wrong.’

She added that the show left her ‘not suicidal, but headed down that path’ as they endured the public backlash.

Although Bryce admits everything he said on the show came from his own mouth, he claims he was almost pushed into saying certain things.

‘Everything was my words, but producers definitely lead you down the path to make the drama,’ he added, which we kinda believe.

Last month, Channel Nine sent a lengthy letter responding to all of viewers who had complained about Bryce and Melissa’s ‘triggering’ scenes on the show, which you can read here.

Since filming wrapped, Bryce has relocated from Canberra to Melbourne to live with Melissa, and the couple appear to be very happy together.

Do you think they have a case?
