Brooke Blurton chose Darvid Garayeli as her winner on The Bachelorette on Thursday.
But a load of viewers were a little distracted from their big moment by an awkward editing fail.
As noticed by approx 98,282 people, Brooke started the final scene wearing a pair of false eyelashes – with one then starting to fall off as she cried.
Both eyelashes were then removed in the next scene, but a split second later and they were back with one falling off again – then they were both back on perfectly, then the scene ended and there wasn’t a false eyelash in sight. A real saga.
All a bit suss, huh?
Obviously TV shows have makeup artists on-set, but seems a bit weird they’d interrupt the big finale to fix a rogue lash – and also weird how they kept appearing and disappearing?
Continuity isn’t a thing at Channel 10 apparently.
Here’s a load of tweets from viewers on the very serious and hard-hitting topic:
The editing is all over the shop – half an eyelash off, no eye lashes, half eye shadow off, lashes and eye shadow back on, eye lash half off, eyelashes off again. Shows you how much editing goes on! #bacheloretteau

This is a sweet moment, slightly overshadowed by the false eyelash continuity #BacheloretteAU

I’m sorry the eyelash is so distracting #BacheloretteAU

Ah well. It’s always a bit anticlimactic isn’t it? The most exciting thing was the saga of the eyelash! #BacheloretteAU

Ok clearly the editor missed the eyelash but Jesus HOW #bacheloretteau

Eyelash timing issues on @BacheloretteAU . Continuity? Obviously not high in their agenda.

#BacheloretteAU Brooke’s eyelash taking a hiatus every second cut ? I had better continuity in my Year 12 Media Class!
