Brooke Blurton apparently dumped footy player Jed Bews to become The Bachelorette.
It has long been rumoured that the reality tv fave had a lil thing with the Geelong star earlier this year, and Daily Mail now has more info.
‘Brooke denied to Jed right up until filming that she was in negotiations with Warner Bros. to be the next Bachelorette,’ their source reckons.
‘Jed is heartbroken and telling friends he doesn’t understand why she needed three shows to find love when she’d already found a good relationship with him.’
He was reportedly even invited onto the show as a contestant to win Brooke’s heart back, after she ‘ended things’ before filming started.
Which is super shady, if true – but also smells like something producers tried to set up behind Brooke’s back, with her having zero knowledge.

Brooke and Jed were first linked together in March after being spotted together a few times, as she relocated from Western Australia to Melbourne.
At the time, she told the It’s A Lot podcast that ‘I don’t want to commit to something serious for a while, so I have been going on these really quite loose dates.’ Although there’s no pictures of them together, Brooke did post several selfies with Jed’s dog during this time.
On May 2, 18 days before being announced as The Bachelorette, Brooke even posted a cute picture of her dog and Jed’s dog on the beach together.

A couple of weeks later, after being announced as The Bachelorette, Brooke then told the Herald Sun she was just ‘really good friends’ with Jed.
It’s worth noting that despite apparently being ‘really good friends’, Jed unfollowed Brooke on Instagram several months ago – but she’s still following him.
Which sounds like they’re actually not ‘really good friends’, and also like things didn’t end well?
