Carissa Croft quit The Bachelorette last week.
And whereas her abrupt departure from the dating show left Brooke Blurton shocked, a handful of her old mates from high school were quite happy to see her off their TV screens…
..after she pissed them all off by going on a random Facebook rant in 2018, absolutely ruining a former friend’s preggo announcement post.
In the past couple of days, The Wash has been sent screenshots of Carissa responding to someone’s happy news by deciding to forgo the usual congratulations – and tell them their irresponsible for having four children instead.
After the woman in question, who Carissa hadn’t spoken to in 12 years, posted her joy at her body being able to create ‘four little humans’, here’s what Carissa commented:
‘If everyone has 4 kids it’s unsustainable for the planet. If you want your children to grow up in a happy world where they aren’t starving and dealing with natural disasters it might be better to have 1-2 then adopt or foster the others… don’t mean any offence by this, but worth researching/considering.’
And here’s what the pregnant school friend, who very much did take offence, then responded:
‘Hi Carissa, 12 years since we last spoke and not even a hello? I highly doubt that having four children will cause the Australian population to starve, nor will I create a natural disaster by reproducing. Hence it being called a “natural disaster”. I’m 10 weeks out from my having fourth baby, so your advice is a little late and unnecessary. I will stick to making babies and you can work on your next piece of unsolicited advice you can give me in another 12 years time.’
