How much do Channel 10 pay The Bachelor?
It’s a question we’ve often wondered, and it seems we’ve finally now got an answer: a shit load.
According to Hit’s Tom & Olly insider this week, Locky Gilbert will have walked away with ‘a couple of hundred [thousand dollars]’ to front the Channel 10 dating series this year.
The radio show then claimed that when they have a non-celebrity fronting the show, they’ll likely command around ‘$100,000’ for the three month shoot – but existing stars (Locky, Honey Badger, Sophie Monk etc) can charge double, if not triple this.
Of course this is yet to be officially confirmed, but seems likely.
Unfortunately, the contestants on the show aren’t making as much bank.
Many past stars have claimed they’re each given around $90-a-day to cover their general expenses back home, as obviously they’re not working but still have bills to pay.
