Two years after his season of Married At First Sight premiered on Channel Nine, Sam Ball’s contract with the network has now expired.
Meaning he can say anything he likes.
Which is, um, exactly what he’s been doing this week by spilling all about his time with Elizabeth Sobinoff, affair with Ines Basic and what the producers apparently made him do.

Here’s what he’s been saying…
Sam on body-shaming Liz:
‘Producers ask you and hit you up about your new partner. They go off track, manipulate you and tell you what to say and ask questions until you answer it they want you to answer it… I thought Lizzie was a lovely girl, I was trying to give her positive compliments until they told me to say what was said, so that’s what happened. Lizzie got out of the fucking limo and [said about me], “Oh, my God, look how chunky tubby is.” She fat-shamed me and I said she’s bigger than the girl I usually dated, meaning height and stuff like that. I didn’t want to fat-shame her at all, that’s not what my intentions were. [Producers] were the ones who said, “Sam, she’s a big girl mate, what are you doing?!” That’s messed up, they shouldn’t do it, it’s all bulls**t.’
Sam on his affair with Ines:
‘They pulled me into a dark room and asked me to do the Ines scenes – they set that up. They made Ines DM me on the phone, that was all staged. I did what I was asked to do with all of that. I didn’t really care what it looked like. I was in the zone. I’ve acted before in TV commercials and it was a job for me. I got paid to do this by the way. I got paid to do it this, just like everyone else.’

Sam on his night with Ines:
‘I throw her on the bed on that date night – not even five seconds later, the producers come in and de-mic you. I didn’t sleep with Ines that night, that didn’t happen. I didn’t sleep with anyone on the show… mark my words. If there was ever a time I was late for a dinner party, I f**king was there. I was having a drink with the producers.’
Sam on the relationship experts:
‘So the experts don’t pick the couples, the producers do. They have a list of people they have to find and approach them on Instagram and ask you to go on the show. I actually did apply to go on the show, that’s the funny part. But I know Elizabeth didn’t apply.’
What do you reckon… do you believe Sam or do you think he’s trying to win some fans over?

I was approached to be on the show without applying. It was 2 seasons ago. At the time i was a 39 year old male in Sydney’s East. A producer called me & knew details about me that only 1 other person would have known – my abusive & dangerous Ex-Girlfriend that i went to the police about 50+ times (not that they did anything about it!) I went through the stages until i was due to sign the contract & do the camera sit down with the experts & pulled out. My Ex obvioulsy didn’t get on the show because i pulled out!
I kinda figured MAFS was fictitious.
Remember the things he said about Lizzy…
Now look at her shining like a goddess as beautiful as ever…
Wish i could say the same about him i mean look at him, hes still reaching.
Ugly ass mofo.
She’s absolutely hideous
