Radio network Nova joined forces with Channel Nine to host a couple of mini-Married At First Sight dinner party reunions with select cast members in Sydney and Melbourne this week.
And there were plenty of fireworks.
Despite the events meant to be about drumming up publicity for the show’s final two weeks, they ended up delivering just as much drama, wild claims and ridiculousness as the season so far.

Bryce reckons Beck had a secret boyfriend, after she said he had a secret girlfriend
Speaking to Nova 96.9s Fitzy & Wippa at the Sydney event, Bryce suggested the reason Beck hasn’t been intimate with Jake on the show yet is because she had someone else waiting for her.
‘She was missing a boy back home … she wants to talk about me a lot, I should probably talk about her shouldn’t I? I’m not going to say yes or no [to her having a secret boyfriend], I’m just going to say watch the reunion,’ he said.
Melissa reveals her mum’s suss real thoughts about Bryce
When asked her thoughts about Bryce apparently having a secret girlfriend outside of the show, Melissa said: ‘I didn’t believe that, there’s a lot of controversy around that conversation, Bryce was very honest with me from the beginning and I was very understanding about his past … He is very genuine, he was 100% the most genuine kindest person I’ve met … When my mum saw Bryce she said, “I think you need to lock him down!”’
Belinda hits back at haters
After pictures recently emerged of Belinda partying, suggesting she’s not as shy as she appears on the show, she said: ‘Look I’m pretty sure it’s normal to go to a nightclub when you turn 18 years old, I’m pretty sure everyone here would’ve gone clubbing so I do have a lot of girlfriends and we love to go out and have a dance and that’s it.’
Brett isn’t Booka’s biggest fan
When asked what he thinks of Booka’s band Make Them Suffer and if he reckons she has a long career ahead of her in music, Brett said: ‘Ummm I reckon, no comment. Nah, she definitely does – the metal band travels the world. She actually has a beautiful voice, but the metal music sounds like a car crash!’
As Brett was then asked if the couple could come back from where they are currently at on the show, he added: ‘Where fuck are we going to turn to? After Patrick‘s letter, where are we going to go? Put it this way, I will say that I wanted to make up from where we were and I didn’t want to carry that sort of negativity through to the future so watch and see’.
Jo has zero time for James
Over in Melbourne with Nova 100’s Chrissie, Sam & Browny, Jo was asked what she learnt from her time with James and responded: ‘Not to date someone who wears a turtle neck. I’ve learnt to speak my voice and not put up with shit from any guy, if someone is treating me awful, have your voice woman and walk away.’
Sam was warned in advance Bryce was gonna throw water on him
Discussing his fight with Bryce, Sam claimed: ‘He was an interesting character. Even before the dinner party, the girls had told me it was premeditated that he was going to throw water on me and then he had the conversation with me.’
