Just like previous seasons, this year’s Married At First Sight is going to feature intruder couples arriving midway through the experiment.
And you may already know two of them.
During production last year, we photographed actor Johnny Balbuziente, TV host Georgia Fairweather and two more joining the cast towards the end of October after filming their weddings.
Here’s who we will soon be meeting…
Intruder Couple 1:
Liam and Georgia
We photographed the first intruder couple sneaking into the casts’ apartment building on October 28 – around three weeks into production.
After that we quickly ID’d the bride as part-time TV host Georgia Fairweather and groom as personal trainer Liam Cooper.
Georgia will presumably be confident on camera thanks to her career as a host on Fintech.TV. She is also an accomplished equestrian rider, and co-founder of brand Aweswim.
Intruder Couple 1:
Kerry and Johnny
After moving into the casts’ building at the end of October, we first photographed the second intruder couple, Kerry and Johnny, on November 1.
And had no idea who they were at the time.
We’ve since identified the bride as Kerry Knight from the Sunshine Coast and the groom as theatre star Johnny Balbuziente.
Some viewers may recognise actor Johnny from starring in the likes of George’s Marvellous Medicine and Fantastic Mr Fox in Brisbane.
