During a radio interview on Thursday, Married At First Sight’s Brett Helling was asked if Bryce Ruthven’s behaviour on the show is genuine or put on for the cameras to stir up some drama.
And he did not hold back with his response.
Speaking to Nova 100’s Chrissie, Sam & Browny, Brett explained that Bryce is actually exactly as he’s portrayed on TV – and possibly even more controversial in real life.
‘I guess the best way to put it is you never see a bank robber caught on security camera footage and say, “Hey that’s a bad edit, I didn’t actually steal that money.” He said all those things, he did that stuff … His issues lie in the way he handles conflict, not even conflict – just the difficult conversations. Rather than being calm and just talking to someone, he just blows up and drags everyone into it.’
PS: In case you’re wondering, Bryce has indeed already played the ‘bad edit’ card, click here to read more about that.
