Robert ‘Dipper’ DiPierdomenico is 99.9% heading into the I’m A Celebrity jungle.
After weeks of rumours that the retired legend is set to appear on the new season, his wife has kinda confirmed the news over on Facebook.
Earlier this week, as the show started pre-recording in Springbrook National Park, The Wash can reveal his longterm partner Cheryl joined the show’s biggest unofficial fan page to keep an eye on all of the posts about him.
In the private Facebook fan group, which has 14,000 members, fans have been speculating about Robert’s appearance, with Cheryl now able to monitor what people are saying.
Footy legend Robert, 61, represented Hawthorn between 1975 and 1991. After the Herald Sun recently asked Channel 10 about him appearing on the show, here’s what they responded:
‘So, here’s the game plan: we’re not going to confirm or deny, but we’ll definitely have a ball. Don’t forget, I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! kicks off Jan 3.’
Earlier this week, we reported three other stars all but confirmed for the upcoming season, including two talent show favourites and a Bachelor runner-up. Click here to read our previous article.
