Grant Denyer is one of the biggest names on this year’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Australia – and he certainly knows it.
So much so that he’s now admitted he ‘instantly regretted’ signing up to the show after discovering who his co-stars were.
‘When I arrived, I was like, “I’ve made the wrong decision”. It hit me like a ton of bricks. I thought, “Oh, my God – I can’t be here around the clock with these fame-seekers bouncing off the walls busting to be on camera. This is going to kill me,”‘ he told TV Week on Monday.
Grant added that he’s ‘not really into’ reality stars.
Which is a little awkward, as this year’s I’m A Celebrity has Bachelor In Paradise’s Abbie Chatfield, The Block’s Jess Eva, Australia’s Got Talent’s Jack Vidgen and Australian Idol’s Paulini.
Despite his initial hesitation, Grant went on to say that everybody really supported each other during filming, after pre-recording the show late last year.
