I’m A Celebrity star Ash Williams ‘has been charged with recording intimate ­images of a woman without her knowledge’ – but is fighting to clear his name.

According to The Sunday Telegraph, the 38-year-old ‘took screenshot images while having phone sex with the woman via FaceTime in November and then sent them to her.’

NSW Police Media said in a statement: ‘In November 2020, officers from Inner West Police Area Command received a report of an offence allegedly committed by a 38-year-old man. Following further investigations, the man was charged with intentionally record intimate image without consent on Friday, 18 December, 2020.’

Speaking to The Sunday Telegraph, Ash said: ‘I’m really upset by the ­allegation and I’m distressed about the impact it’s had on members of my family, particularly my mum.’ He is now ‘looking forward to resolving the matter in court’.

  1. That’s a disgusting point of view, consent was for the sex act, not for the recording.
    You need to do some soul searching if you think this is ok.
    Also if the “female” didn’t want her image to be seen she should have ended the call.
    Serious victim blaming here 🤮🤮🤮

  2. @M.G so once you had FaceTime sex with someone it gives them the right to keep footage/screenshots of this interaction for all of eternity? It’s a massive breach of trust doing this without the other person’s consent and you can’t tell me there will be never be a risk of someone else seeing it. He’s basically went from a phone interaction to create pornographic material of this person.
    A large proportion of porn you see on the internet actually originated from people taking videos and images of women without their consent.

  3. They are both adults who had an intimate chat, that in itself is consenting. If the female didn’t want to have her image seen by Ash, she should have ended the video call. He shouldn’t have recorded it, but having said that, if it was for him alone and he had no intention of distributing it, then that isn’t illegal surely. 🤔
