Netflix’s Selling Sunset has become a cult phenomenon since premiering in 2019, with millions of people around the world streaming the Los Angeles-based real estate reality show.
Which is why we’re hardly surprised to discover there’s a very similar sounding Aussie version in the works, set in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.
Kyle Sandilands’ production company Kentel has teamed up with Amazon Prime Video to produce an unscripted real estate series, which will follow three agents as they trade houses ‘worth up to $30 million’ across the city. According to Emerald City, the show will premiere in 2021, and follow agents Gavin Rubinstein, D’Leanne Lewis, and Simon Cohen.
We photographed the cast filming scenes on board Anthony Bell’s $20million yacht on Sydney Harbour recently, pointing out various multi-million dollar homes in their portfolio.
Here’s your first look below….
PS: Please note this yet-to-be-named Aussie real estate reality show is in no association to Netflix or Selling Sunset, but since the concepts sound so similar everyone’s going to dub it ‘Selling Sydney’ until there’s some official info released
