Bachelor In Paradise star Conor Canning isn’t having the best week.
The former reality star has lost his real estate license and been fined $30,000 for “stealing a client database and then repeatedly lying about it”, the ABC reports.
In November 2020, a tribunal found him guilty of “unprofessional conduct” after he “copied his former employer Ant Manton’s database without permission and then exported the confidential information”.
Magistrate Webster upheld the tribunal’s decision in court this week, writing that “[Mr Canning] demonstrated by his actions … that he is not an honest person.”
He added that Conor is “not a fit and proper person to practice in the real estate industry” and required that he “[does] not participate in the industry until he satisfied the governing body that he could be readmitted”.
Tassie-based Conor appeared on the third season of Bachelor In Paradise in 2020, where he found love with Mary Viturino. The couple are still together and welcomed a daughter, Summer Elizabeth, on March 27.
